There is a Dental Therapy Centre attached to East Maddington Primary School which provides a free and continuous dental service for children from five year old Pre-primary until Year 11 in our local area. The clinic operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the school term.

For emergencies out of normal working hours, or on a public holiday, contact the Perth Dental Hospital or your local dentist.
School Chaplain
Maddington Primary School offers a School Chaplain, Steph Sanderson, who is available to help students find a better way to deal with a range of issues, whether it be family, friendship, stress or anxiety issues.
The Steph provides a listening ear and a caring presence for children in crisis, or for those who just need a friend. She can be approached directly, a note posted to her mailbox (outside the office) or an appointment can be made through Administration.
This support is funded through the WA Government, the school and the P&C. Youth Care oversees the delivery of the School Chaplaincy Program.
Library and Reading Books
A considerable amount of school funds is allocated to provide quality resources for our students. An extensive array of books and resources are available to both students and staff.
All classes from K – 6 use the Library regularly. Books can be borrowed on a weekly basis and must be carried in a library bag for protection. It is important to note if library books are lost or damaged, that parents will be asked to replace the resource or reimburse the school for the loss.
